As the name would suggest, it would seem that this blog would be about the adventures and mishaps of someone cooking with a puppet – either a hand puppet or one on strings.  Although this “Puppet” may sometimes feel like he’s on strings, this blog was first started to follow the cooking creations of a young couple, where the husband is fondly called “Puppet”.

We hope you enjoy our blog and can be inspired to try new recipes in your own kitchen.

We found we were getting bored with our usual dinner meals and that they had just become another necessity or task to complete after a busy day at work.  Through being inspired with the countless recipe books on our shelves and attempting to create at least a couple of new meals every week, our love for cooking has returned and our nights at home are no longer menial and uninspiring.

Our focus is on fresh and healthy food that fits within our budget.  We love the occasional treat however and especially love rich desserts!
